I’m Speaking in a Bar and at a Place Called “Faith House”
June 1st, 2011 | Posted by: Chris Stedman
Just a quick update on upcoming June speaking engagements:
I’m headed to Chicago this weekend for a wedding and a date with my tattoo artist – but while I’m there, I’ll also be speaking for the Chicago Skeptics! Check out the Facebook event for this “Skeptic in the Pub” night and, if you’re in the area, please consider coming by.
On my way back from Chicago, I’ll swing through New York City for an event co-hosted by the Center for Inquiry (CFI) NYC and Faith House Manhattan. I’ll be speaking on why I believe it is important for religious and nonreligious people to work together, and then we’ll be doing a small community service project! For more information, visit CFI NYC’s website, Faith House Manhattan’s website, Eventbrite or Facebook (so many options!).
If you’re in Chicago or NYC, I’d love to see you at one of these events!

Just wanted to say we Chicago Skeptics had Chris by for beers last night and he was great. He’s got a veru kool combination of hard-nosed practicality and also compassion. Rare combo.
He also stuck around for verbal mud-wrestling and some spontaneous break dancing by a white guy.
