Whew! The American Humanist Association conference ended yesterday, culminating in an amazing Humanist environmental sustainability community service project (or as my boss Greg Epstein put it, “Green Without God,” hahaha), planned by yours truly. It was an incredible expression of our Humanist values — plus, it featured free food donated from b.good and Boloco, and an awesome performance by local band Surviving Winter! Big shout-out to our partners-in-crime Hope in Action at Harvard, Cambridge Energy Alliance, HEET (Home Energy Efficiency Team Massachusetts), and the Margaret Fuller House.

Anyway, I’m exhausted from the conference — it was full of meeting new people, discussing our work at the Humanist Chaplaincy at Harvard, and kicking off my 24th birthday by having breakfast with Richard Dawkins (who would have guessed that would happen?!) — so I am taking my first day off in ages, which will be spent cleaning my room and doing laundry, ha.

But I’d like to take a moment before delving into the unattended clutter of my bedroom to announce my second speaking tour this spring… beginning this Friday! No rest for the wicked indeed. Be sure to come check me out — especially because some of these events also feature some of the most articulate and inspiring activists I know!
